I rang up to ask a simple question about whether Real Income Protection Insurance would cover amateur BMX racing and I had to waste about 30 minutes of my time going through the whole application process to then find out about 6 hours later that it would be an exclusion on the policy. Surely a customer should be able to get a pre-assessment for participating in a particular sport or pastime without having to actually apply for a policy first and answer all the health related questions as well. After doing comparisons with other insurers I also found Real Income Protection insurance to be overpriced and not provide as many features and benefits as most other insurers on the market.

Great customer service. Very easy and quick to buy. The policy was explained very well over the phone. I was initially called to buy life insurance but because I am single and have no dependant, it was explained to me that I would benefit more from income protection or bill cover. Both insurances were explained to me and I chose the bill cover based on my needs.
