Great value for money, I did a quote a few times while researching, with it ending up cheaper than my original quote.
I thought the service was fantastic every time I called. I spoke to 4 different people as I ended up with a complex issue, but each time was always a warm friendly person on the other side of the line helping me with my million questions.

Because the payment was not processed, I had to call, then to be told it would be taken on the day of commencement. If I had been emailed that, I wouldn't have had the stress and then having to call and waste your staff time. Then when the payment hit my credit card, I was not even sent an email or a receipt to confirm. Again, I was worried about the policy being valid. I now know it is, but it all could have been avoided.
I'm not impressed that I was not sent/emailed a receipt for the payment.

it was cheap, no other factors made it attractive.
I was promised a refund within 5 working days - to offset the overcharge which you took immediately. that refund is still pending. While your telephone operators make promises and try to sound very helpful on the phone, there is a consistent zero action going on in the background. To this extent the telephone operators are portrayed as lying. I will be searching for another supplier.

Easy to buy a motor policy.

Though the insurance premium is very competitive when compared to others, I feel the excesses are a bit high, particularly when they are in addition to the basic excess
I actually did not speak to any anyone. I was able to buy the policy online completely by myself so I appreciate the user-friendliness of the website.

Be upfront with excess options

Big difference from initial quote to the final rate but took a lot of questions on my part. You nearly lost a customer
The operator had a thick accent and we both struggled to understand each other. He didn't go over the excess options. When I asked whhy the rate was so much more than previous years he said it was because of my new (second hand) car. After accepting I then remembered I could change the excess and had to go through the process again to get a better rate. Happy now, but he should have been more upfront with options.
